Good morning BFC friends!!! I am up early drinking coffee and checking up on my friends. Sunday was a nice relaxing day, we went to the store bought bulk our bulk items: coffee, oatmeal, and nuts. Then we cleaned and watched Entourage on the computer. I love waking up to a clean house!!!
I guess I don't have much to say this morning, I just hope that everyone has a good Monday, and if you cheated during the weekend get back on the wagon. Don't beat yourself up, be kind to yourself, forgive and move on. Hubby and I decided that we are not going to drink until St. Paddy's Day weekend, so I am putting it out there so my BFC friends can help keep me accountable and strong. I plan on drinking tea to relax instead of alcohol. Now that I told all of you that I will probably crave a glass of wine after work tonight lol, but I will me strong.
Breakfast: 1/4c oatmeal, 1/4c blueberries, chopped walnuts, lemon barleans, black coffee.
Lunch: spinach salad, arugula, 1/4c brown rice, sprouts, blue cheese, sunflower seeds, walnuts, celery, newman's ceasar dressing. tea, 1 sugar free raspberry creme. 2 Tbs apple cider vin
Dinner: 2 small hamburgers with cheese, 2 slices bacon, a tiny tiny amount of bbq sauce and mayo, 1/2 avocado, tea. Hubby and I had been craving hamburgers since Saturday, and I'm glad we made them at home instead of a fast food restaurant
well sounds like you had a great weekend. Cutting back on the alcohol might help keep you on track.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day at work :-)
Sounds like more great food choices! Glad you had a great weekend!! Not drinking when your use to it for relaxation is hard, but you can do it. I use to have a beer with my hubby all the time, but stopped because the carbs and calories. Now I rarely drink, maybe only sociably and then I try to have few drinks.
ReplyDeleteKeeping alcohol to a min will help me to get to where I want to be. I've learned it's the small things that add up to be big roadblocks...hidden sugars everywhere, a bite here a bite there.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the encouragement, I felt like a beer when I came home today but I made tea instead. Slow and steady wins the race.
