Hello friends, thanks for the encouragement. Right now I feel pretty good that I am following through with being more present in the blog community. I am finding it very helpful to use my food journal again. For me it's an outlet where I can vent about everything, I have come to realize that there are a lot of things that I don't want to keep bottled up inside, but I need to be careful about what I share. When I have been faithful about journaling in the past I have felt more at peace and I have been more successful with my weight and fitness. I have a quote from Kay that I absolutely love and I have written it on the inside cover of my journal: "I really think we all do better when the BFC is forefront in our minds. Blogging, reading the blogs, getting inspired...they all go together" Her words really inspire me I agree we all do best when the bfc is forefront in our minds, if it's not it is so easy to get sidetracked and fall off the straight and narrow.
I have been looking for diet/fitness inspiration on pinterest, here are some of the things I found that inspire me :)
Isn't Kay full of wisdom!! I love her encouragement, advice, and postive comments. Love the quotes and that food journal that you have.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking this past weekend as I was out on the town with my husband for our anniversary, that I felt awesome - great in my clothes and in my mind (no sugar in my system making me feel foggy headed). And at that moment, I realized that those feelings trumped the feeling of eating a sugar-laden treat!! Let's give power to how awesome we feel when we don't eat it vs. when we do!!! :) Have a great day Katie :)
Great idea! Glad you're finding what will keep you focused. Kay quote is so true. Having ongoing support and accountability really helps me to stay focused.
