I have been craving something sweet and finding it hard to stay away from the bite size candy bars in the candy drawer at work. I decided that I would make some chocolate almond cookies but this morning I couldn't find the almond flour so I made coconut pumpkin muffins instead, wouldn't you know when I was cleaning up after the pumpkin muffins I found the almond flour. I've put most of the kitchen away now I just need to remember where I put things.
I bought some new stevia yesterday since I discovered that truvia is not a very good source of stevia, has anyone else used this brand? Any thoughts? My pumpkin muffins turned out great and I know I will be making lots of them now that fall is right around the corner. Well I guess that's all for now I hope everyone is doing great. I will blog more once we have internet at the house.
I use stevia and love it!!!! Def worth it and I feel good about putting it in my body.
ReplyDeleteI love the nutaturals white stevia too. I think it's the best tasting stevia I've tried so far. I have to make sure I don't use very much, usually only 1 tsp or so in a batch of somthing. Congrats on the house!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being in your new house! So exciting! Yum, that breakfast burrito sounds really good. I also use the NuNatural stevia. I bought a HUGE 1 lb bag of it that will probably last the rest of my life, lol. Like Dawn said just a little goes a LONG way. Luckily I think it taste great. I also bought a bag of plain Erythritol and I use that in my baking along with a tsp of the stevia.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new house! It's so stressful buying a house and moving so hang in there. Have you ever tried sweet leaf stevia? Is Nunatuals stevia better?

We are both in the same boat - moved in and unpacking. I have had those black bean burgers before - good. And I did try that stevia but can't remember - I will have to try it again.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like we both have to make time to go shopping LOL.
Have a good weekend. :-)
