6th Week BFC Day 6

It was a beautiful day up here in my little corner of the world. My hubby and I took a long walk in the sunshine. We live in a very eclectic historic neighborhood with many beautiful old mansions that have been restored and many turned into apts mixed in with weird 70's and 80's apartment buildings. Anyway we live in a really cool place for a young couple with no kids to be.

Breakfast: 1/4c oatmeal 1/4c blueberries, sliced almonds, barleans lemon, black coffee, flax and water.

Lunch: 2oz whole wheat pasta with mini meatballs and parm. Romaine salad with hard boiled egg, celery, cucumber and kalamata olives, sunflower seeds, newman's olive oil and vin dressing.

Dinner: Stir-fry with onion, celery, broccoli, baby bok choy, asparagus, edamame, carrot. soy sauce, balsamic vin and sesame oil. Hubby had some brown rice with his, but I wasn't starving and I felt that I had enough carbs at lunch and breakfast. Also 1 glass of Cabernet (actually what was left over from last night he hee) For an evening snack 2 pieces of dove sugar free chocolate creme and tea.

  1. Hi Katie,

Great to see you blogging too. I really think it helped keep me centered on the BFC. You meals from yesterday sounded great, but just watch the carrots, too much sugar. I haven't eaten the hardly at all in the past year.
I will put your blog on my list and try to send some people over.
    Have a great day! :-)
By the way - you are both so cute!

  2. Thank you Rosalie for the reminder about carrots...I was tryin to use up these yummy organic carrots I had...I only used 1 for both myself and hubby. Now that they are gone I don't think I will be buying anymore for a long time since we are both doin the bfc (although my hubby isn't as strict as I am, but he is supportive)
