Hello my BFC friends, I guess we could have gone to Lindsay's this weekend, 80 degrees sounds pretty awesome, hubby and I have never been south and we would love to check it out someday. Today went by way to fast. Hubby did our taxes today and we are pleased with what our tax return will be. We were hoping that we were going to qualify to deduct my medical bills from my knee, but to do that we would have had to spend $11,000 crazy huh? I guess we can just be grateful we didn't have to spend that much.
I'm feeling much better about the car situation today, it's kinda a glass half empty kinda thing... Another crazy thing, I was at a meeting today and they had fun sized snickers, twix, and reeses. I looked at the nutrition info on the bag those little fun sized things had 8-11g sugar. The good news is I was a little tempted, but I resisted. :)
Today I ate:
Breakfast: 1/4c oatmeal, 1/4c blueberries lemon barleans, sliced almonds, black coffee
Snack: macadamia nuts, baby bell cheese
Lunch: spinach salad with turkey lunch meat, feta, mushrooms, 2 mini sweet peppers, celery.
Snack: 2 fried eggs with cheese
Dinner: salad, spinach, arugula, 1.5 chicken sausage, feta, kalamata olives, sliced almonds, sunflower seeds, mushrooms, green onion, newman's Tuscan Italian dressing.
Mmmm sounds like a delicious day of meals!! I love feta cheese. :) Good at resisting the temptation, I would have probably caved. Chocolate is my worst weakness. I actually had two lindt truffles this weekend which was 10 g of sugar. I didn't have any other sugars really for the day, but still I know that should have been a no no for me. Today's high is 77 here, so come on down. :) I can't believe the weather here, I am just waiting for an unexpected freeze to come back because its never like this here at this time of the year.
ReplyDeleteHi Katie,
ReplyDeleteGood for you to pass on the chocolate. I know how hard that is to do sometimes when everyone else is eating it. Your meals from yesterday sounded great.
Have a good day today :-)
