8th Week BFC Day 4

Today the sun was out and it was beautiful. I did mostly ok today, but I had a slip up. Failure to plan is planning to fail. I've been trying to bring lots of yummy bfc food to work so I don't eat the pretzels, bread, peanut butter and nutella available to me in our break room. I need to go grocery shopping, so my lunch and snacks were less than satisfying, and I ended up eating a handful of pretzels with peanut butter, and approximately 1/4 slice white bread with nutella. The nutella calls my name, and I need good snacks to help me stay away from it. I think this weekend  I'm gonna watch some of Jorge's youtube video's and look at the book again, I think I'm gettin a little lax.

Breakfast: tuna sandwich with mayo on 2 slices Ezekiel 4:9 bread, black coffee

Lunch: spinach salad, arugula, sunflower seeds, walnuts, moz cheese, 1/2c brown rice, asparagus, pumpkin seeds, newman's Tuscan Italian dressing.1/4 slice white bread with nutella, black coffee. I'm afraid to think how much sugar I ate at lunch, with the white bread and nutella (a serving size of nutella 2Tbs has 21g sugar...I only ate probably a tsp...still bad)

Snack: handful pretzels with peanut butter, black coffee

Dinner: chicken stir fry, with baby bok choy, asparagus, mushrooms, napa cabbage, 1/2c brown rice, cashews, sesame seeds. Hubby made dinner, and  it was very good. I think he will be making more dinners now that I have a job and don't usually get home until after 7.

  1. Hey Katie, Don't be hard on yourself. We all mess up from time to time. Next time you are tempted just take 1 or 2 bites. That is my rule. So its not too bad that way. Everything else on your meals looks great though.
This does take a lot of will power. And You Can Do It :-)

  2. I agree with Rosalie, I had these week or two several weeks back where I just wanted to beat myself up for cheating on the plan, but we can't. We just have to move forward and not look back no matter what. Staying strong and continuing is the real important thing. One little mess up isn't going to hurt ya, we gotta stay sane and sometimes have that thing we aren't suppose to. WE just gotta take it in moderation. :) Your doing great Katie!
